No se puede negar; Alistair Brownlee es un triatleta bestial. Como si no fuera suficiente con sus 20 triunfos en la SMT, su medalla de oro olímpica y sus dos títulos de Campeonato Mundial, Alistair nos demostró en Kitzbuehel que es toda una leyenda de nuestro deporte.

Alistair dejó el agua y encaró la montaña Kitzhorn entre los líderes. La presencia de Javier Gomez prometía que la carrera masculina sería interesante, como es habitual cuando atletas de este calibre se miden en un circuito.

Rápidamente Alistair dejó su marca en la competencia. A minutos de iniciado el ascenso de los 11,5-km del trazado de ciclismo, el británico dejó en claro que nadie le daría alcance.

Alistair llegó a la segunda transición mucho antes que sus oponentes y solidificó su trayectoria como uno de los mejores triatletas de la historia. No necesitamos decir que Alistair fue contundente en la etapa pedestre y ganó la carrera y su décimo quinto título en campeonatos mundiales de la serie.
