Tomoko Wada, Chair of the ITU Women’s Committee, accompanied a delegation from Yokohama on a visit to Lausanne recently to meet with IOC President Dr. Jacques Rogges.

The purpose of the visit was to present Dr. Rogge with the declaration from the Kids Sports Summit held in Yokohama in conjunction with the Dextro-Energy Triathlon - ITU World Championships Yokokhama, August 2009. Mr. Chiharu Igaya, (IOC), the former Vice President of ITU and ITU Honorary Member also attended the meeting with Dr. Rogge.

President Rogge congratulated the delegation on the successful World Kid’s Sports Summit, the first event of its kind ever held in the world.
